The journey begins! I was super excited to get an email from Laura Hale on May 22nd to let me know that I was one of eight artists selected to participate in the Saskatchewan Legislative Building 100th Anniversary Artist in Residence program! That's right, folks! That beautiful building in the Queen City that has seen various political leaders and dignitaries from near and far, and hosted countless wedding photo shoots over the years is turning 100 in 2012. It is such a beautiful landmark, and I am very happy to be able to celebrate it, and the people of this province who have made such a grand symbol of democracy possible.
